About the Winona Model Legislature
Model Legislature is a two-day educational hands-on learning program modeled after the Minnesota State Legislature and held at Winona State University for grades 6-12 and the WSU 331 Teaching Social Studies in the Secondary students. Each year, 120 to 150 students participate in the two-day program.

The WSU EDUC 331 – Teaching Social Studies in the Secondary students are committee administrators and advisors to the Senate, House of Representatives and Governor’s office. They produce a multimedia journal of this unique learning experience as a final activity for their grade.
