He is also president of climbing club, RTTR club, and Society of Collegiate Journalists. This is Edwards’ third year at Winona State, as he transferred from Anoka-Ramsey Community College. From New Brighton, Minnesota, Edwards has worked on his uncle\u2019s podcast called Hip-Hop and Politics. He was also a sports reporter for the WSU campus newspaper, The Winonan<\/em>, for two years. He also enjoys listening to music and watching both basketball and football. Edwards\u2019 ultimate goal is to cover sports or hip-hop for an online publication or on a podcast\/radio show.<\/p>\n<\/a>Kelli Jo Knobloch<\/strong> is a WSU junior majoring in mass communication, and emphasizing journalism, with a minor \u00a0in film studies. Knobloch is from La Crosse, Wisconsin, and chose to attend Winona State because it was close to home but far enough away to help her gain independence. Knobloch has worked over the years for KQAL, the campus radio station, as a producer and DJ. She wrote a few articles for The Winonan<\/em>, the campus newspaper, but\u00a0says she found her passion in radio journalism. Knobloch hopes to become a producer with a radio station where she can go to shows and interview acts.<\/p>\n<\/a>Carolina Guerreiro Machado<\/strong>, a senior international student at Winona State University, is from S\u0101o Paulo, Brazil, majoring in mass communication-journalism and minoring in mass communication-advertising. She has been a DJ for the campus radio station, KQAL, and says she truly enjoys that role. Guerreiro Machado’s favorite hobby is photography. She is interested in broadcast journalism and investigative journalism. She aspires one day to work for National Geographic<\/em> as a photographer or BuzzFeed<\/em> as a columnist. She says her goal is to find a job where she can have fun, enjoy it, and be herself.<\/p>\n<\/a>Greg Off<\/strong> is from Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is a senior at Winona State University with a major in journalism and a minor in coaching. Off has served as on-air analyst during Winona State football games on KQAL, the campus radio station, following a short playing career with Warrior football. He is the radio voice of WSU women\u2019s basketball, served as KQAL sports director, and hosted the weekly \u201cSports Rundown\u201d show as well as his own show, \u201cThe Mid-Day Munchies.” In his free time, Off listens to podcasts, reading The Ringer<\/em> and watching wrestling. He aspires to pursue his passions in sports and pop culture.<\/p>\n<\/a>Christina Bisola Ojo<\/strong> is from Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Born to Nigerian immigrant parents, Ojo is a senior at Winona State University finishing her major in mass communication-journalism and an individualized studies minor. Ojo is a disc jockey for KQAL 89.5 FM, the Winona State radio station, and has worked for HBC TV 25, the local broadcasting community-access cable station. \u00a0Ojo says she is a huge film buff and enjoys spending her free time reading with her book club. \u00a0Ojo aspires to someday take the seat of Trevor Noah and become the host of The Daily Show, n the Comedy Central cable network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
