Why You Should Study at WSU

The ISSS staff will support you through the process of applying to WSU, getting visas, on-campus orientation, transitioning to campus life and more. Our team will also help you navigate all the resources at WSU including: free tutoring services, advice on which major to pursue, accommodations for a disability, preparing for a career, health services, counseling services.

Though academics are important, you’ll have even more opportunities outside the classroom to build your skills and simply enjoy your time as part of the WSU community. We offer sports, theater, concerts, and art galleries. Students at WSU are offered the opportunity to connect with others who share your interests through student clubs and organizations.

I–Design

The I–Design major provides students with up-to-date and adaptive design education. As the creative field continues to expand, the program will enable students to make use of the Design Thinking methodology and develop a creative identity.

Graphic Design

Graphic Design is a traditional design major relying on strong fine and liberal arts foundations, integrated with contemporary multi-disciplinary practices. Students will also take courses in the Computer Science, Communication Studies, Marketing, and Mass Communication departments.

Basic Requirements

Request your test score to be sent to Winona State University. If there are restrictions on payment in your country, consider getting a pre-paid card from a bank in your country.

If you took a college-level English class equivalent to ENG 111 College Reading and Writing at WSU, you may be exempt from the English proficiency requirement.

You must have at least 5 passes at the O-Levels. Results from A-Level exams are considered for advanced credit.
