AIGA Winona Student Group

AIGA is a Winona State University student group that focuses on learning more about design and designing for good. The goal of the student group is to get the student involved in the local design community, create a community of their own and help them build leadership skills that will be valuable as they move into the professional world.

Career Services

Career Services provides a comprehensive range of services to assist current students and graduates in achieving their employment and continuing education goals. Individual assistance with: searching for on-campus jobs, internships and full-time employment in Handshake, writing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, applying to graduate school, career assessments, on-campus interviews, career and job fairs, classroom and student club presentations, special career events, and online job search and career tools.

Alumni Community

WSU has a strong alumni community, and the design program is no exception. Each Spring semester the Program organizes the Alumni Roundtable as the platform for sharing experiences and establishing creative connections between upcoming designers and the Alumni. The WSU Design Program Alumni community is a tight-knit network of design professionals from different disciplines and across the globe. Current design students may rely on up-to-date information from commercial, in-house, agency/studio, independent settings. 

The WSU Design Program Alumni Community is a strong supporter of the Program through scholarship donations and professional connections.
