Transfer to WSU
If you’re looking for a change or ready to continue your journey, it’s time to transfer to WSU. With high-quality programs and expert faculty, you’ll get the education you need to start your career. Our student success stories speak for themselves. Not to mention all the natural beauty between bluffs and the river that make the Warrior life so much sweeter. International students have a unique application process for transferring to WSU. Adult students are admitted to WSU through the Non-Traditional student path.
I–Design is the recommended major in the Art & Design Department to pursue as a transfer student due to its unique and flexible nature. I–Design is composed of seven different concentrations through which you tailor your education. Choose your own path and form your own future!
Applying to WSU is so easy that you can be on your way to becoming a Warrior in just minutes. There’s no essay, and your transcripts from any Minnesota State institutions are automatically pulled in.
Meet any Program Requirements
Getting accepted to WSU doesn’t always mean you’re accepted into your academic program. Some programs have extra requirements before you can take courses in those majors. Check with the academic department to see if there are any program requirements.
Let’s pop the question: Will your credits transfer? The answer is yes, a thousand times yes. Don’t worry about getting an official transcript evaluation. The WSU Admissions team always evaluates your credits when you are accepted. You can use Transferology to get a sense of how your credits transfer to WSU. This is a free resource available 24/7.
Watch your email for an invitation to Transfer Registration Day based on your chosen program and campus location. After this event, you’ll be all set up for your first semester at WSU.
The I–Design major provides students with an up-to-date and adaptive design education. As the creative field continues to expand, the program will enable students to make use of the Design Thinking methodology and develop a creative identity.
